Built to handle the toughest barrel and action removals and tested to 600 ft-lbs of torque. The Modular Action Wrench was designed to eliminate any damage to actions during the barrel removal process. The 1.5" thick steel body provides a robust grip around the action. Aluminum soft jaws contoured to your exact action provide grip and prevent damage to any finish.
The Modular Action Wrench was designed and tested to provide the most effective method for removing barrels. The 1" hex allows the use of a breaker bar for removal and a torque wrench for installation of new barrels. A designated striking area is located just above the hex which allows a user to "shock" the barrel threads using a mallet. This is an effective way to remove barrels with considerably less force than torque alone.

Aluminum soft jaws sold separately.
NOTE: bolts do not need to be extremely tight for proper function. Less than 20 ft lbs is recommended. After action has successfully been loosened from barrel you can loosen the 1/2” bolts used to hold the soft jaws in place. This reduces any additional clamp load on the action/barrel threads.
