Recoil lug anti-rotation blocks

Keep your recoil lug square while torquing your barrel to spec. These adjustable eccentric 6061 aluminum anti-rotation blocks mount to the Buffalo Creek Machine Modular Action Wrench and keep the recoil lug in place — no drilling, no pinning, no finish damage.

Compatibility

Designed for use with the Buffalo Creek Machine Modular Action Wrench on Remington 700 actions and clones. The eccentric adjustment accommodates a wide range of recoil lug widths and profiles.

Installation

1. Mount your action in the Modular Action Wrench bottom block
2. Secure the eccentric blocks into the tapped holes on the bottom block, one on each side of the recoil lug
3. Rotate each block to snug against the recoil lug faces, keeping it square
4. Tighten the block bolts to secure position
5. Torque barrel to spec — the lug stays locked throughout

• 1× 1/4-28 × 5/16" SHCS for securing the bottom jaw to the action (Rem 700/clone and Savage 10/110 only)

If your MAW bottom block doesn't have tapped holes for the recoil lug blocks, contact us at buffalocreekmachine@gmail.com. We'll machine the proper holes, then return your updated wrench with the recoil lug block kit and hardware for $60 (includes return shipping).
